SMOC VOLUNTEER INFO
Thank you for generously offering your time and energy to volunteer for this year's Single Moms Oil Change! The impact you will have is greatly appreciated.
Below are the details each volunteer needs to know.

When should I arrive?
Please arrive by 8am on Saturday, June 29th. We will have donuts, coffee, water and your t-shirt ready for you!
The X-Games are this weekend at the fairgrounds so please be mindful of possible traffic.
Team huddle is at 8:20am. We will pray and have you meet with your Team Lead for all the need-to-know information.
Where should I park?
Parking for volunteers is located in the gravel parking lot on the corner of Walter St. and Market St. (across the street from the JCV building).
Where do I go when I arrive?
Join us in the lobby when you arrive (doors are located at the front of the building on Market Street).
When do I get my t-shirt?
We will have your t-shirt ready to pick-up in the lobby when you arrive. The bathrooms are available for you to change into your SMOC t-shirt.
Please note, all volunteers are expected to wear the shirt while they are helping. This helps our guests know who to ask for help!
How do I know which area I am serving?
You will receive a text message letting you know what team/area you are serving on and who your Team Lead is!
What is the time commitment?
While we hope you can help us for the entire day, we understand that isn't always possible.
The full day is from 8 am - 3:30 pm. If you cannot volunteer for the day, please let us know by texting 805-658-7646 or email Taylor Ness.
Can my kids come too?
Yes! We encourage your kids to serve with you! If you plan to bring your kids, please read this letter.
